Every day

At closing:

• Backflush each group with the appropriate espresso-machine cleaning procedure.
• Clean the group heads and dispersion screens.
• Remove and clean portafilters and baskets.
• Purge and wipe the steam wands immediately after every milk use.
• Clean the steam-wand tips.
• Flush the hot-water outlet.
• Clean the drip tray and drain area.
• Wipe the stainless-steel surfaces and touchscreens.
• Empty/clean the grounds and waste areas.

Every week

• Perform a more thorough group-head cleaning.
• Inspect group gaskets and shower screens.
• Check steam-wand tips for milk buildup.
• Clean underneath and around the group assemblies.
• Inspect drain hoses and connections.
• Check for water leaks.
